Hillman Is Staying Open! A Different World Renewed for Season 2

Now THIS is the kind of news we love to see!

Just over a week after making its Netflix debut, A Different World Season 2 is officially happening! Netflix has renewed the series for another trip to Hillman, proving that the love for A Different World is still very real.

The new generation came out of the gate strong. Season 1 debuted at No. 4 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 English TV list with 4.2 million views in its first few days, landed in the Top 10 in 15 countries, and reached No. 2 in the U.S.

The strong debut makes the quick A Different World Season 2 renewal even more exciting. A new generation of viewers has been introduced to Hillman while longtime fans of the original series have another reason to return to the fictional HBCU.

With A Different World Season 2 now confirmed, we'll get another opportunity to follow the students of Hillman as their stories, friendships, relationships and college experiences continue.

Looks like class is officially back in session! Did you binge Season 1, and are you ready for another year at Hillman?
