Snowfall fans, it’s time to celebrate, the wait is finally over! The spinoff we’ve all been buzzing about, starring the unbeatable duo Wanda and Leon, now has an official name: The Drop: A Snowfall Saga.
After stealing the show for six unforgettable seasons, Gail Bean and Isaiah John are back—this time, front and center as Wanda and Leon step into the limelight for an adventure that’s all their own. Set in the electric aftermath of Snowfall, The Drop follows our favorite duo as they trade the streets for the stage, determined to take West Coast rap mainstream and ride the tidal wave of hip-hop’s golden era in 1990s Los Angeles.
While Snowfall ended with Franklin Saint's heartbreaking downfall, Wanda and Leon's journey is just getting started. As they navigate the music industry, gang wars continue to erupt across the city, and major record labels begin looking to profit from the culture that built hip-hop from the ground up.

For longtime Snowfall viewers, this feels like the perfect next chapter. Wanda's transformation throughout the original series made her one of the show's most inspiring characters, while Leon evolved into one of its most respected voices. Now, fans will get the opportunity to see what happens when these two take on a new challenge together.
Joining Bean and John are Asante Blackk, Peyton Alex Smith, Buddy, and a strong supporting cast that includes several familiar faces from the Snowfall universe.
The Drop: A Snowfall Saga premieres later this year on FX and Hulu, and if the original series taught us anything, it's that every move comes with consequences. This time, however, the battleground isn't the drug game; it's the music industry.
And honestly? We can't wait to see Wanda and Leon get the spotlight they deserve.
